Jeez, Karl Rove and Newt Gingrich, REALLY? That’s what the Republican Party is offering up in these troubled times? Here’s two guys that should be in Federal Prison.

What Newt Gingrich did in the 90’s with the likes of Tom Delay and Phil Gramm pretty much sold out the American worker… Expatriate Clauses, deregulation and insuring the venture capital of industry that moved jobs to Communist China. (JEEZ & crackers)

Gingrich Republicans legislated themselves a bubble where ethics, responsibility, virtue, accountability are null & void. NOooo… it’s not bribery anymore, we call it lobbying now.

And what about how Republicans tamper with elections, voter registration and voters rights… Some tell me please, what better definition of TRAITOR than those who would corrupt the election process? Newt turned campaigning ugly, full of revised history and disinformation.

I’m up trying to figure out what happens to journalists once they anchor/host news programming or shows such as “Meet the Press”. Look at happened to Tim Russert before the first Dick Cheney interview. To this day I’m in awe of how David Gregory got through a whole interview with Newt Gingrich without one mention of 90’s backroom legislation that sold out the American worker.

Hidden expatriate clauses, technology dumps or insuring the venture capital of corporations that moved jobs to communist China… we could always count on the Gingrich Congress to be a Ho for the corporate and foreign special interests on K-St. It was the height of hypocrisy for Gingrich Republicans to be making a big deal about the Clinton/Lewinsky BJ, while they were being Ho’s for the silver spoon, Trust Fund Babies. (I heard rumors the Gingrich Republicans used to get together with Ken Starr and have circle jerks to Monica’s testimony)

As we look back at history not revised by the likes of Newt Gingrich much can be learned. For instance, President Obama knew from the past that if one gives the Republican Party monkey’s enough rope, they’ll hang themselves. While these mad Conservatives were busy being tea baggers, birthers, obstructionists or just covering up sex or banking scandals… Obama/Biden were actually doing their job.

Poor people are not being represented NOW because they didn’t vote. So pardon me I don’t feel bad for them. Take away your cable TV and I’ll bet you’ll take the time to get some ID and VOTE!

I say an hour of Ring of Fire Radio, Randi Rhodes, Thom Hartman or Norman Goldman for every two hours of Conservative talk and see how the American PEOPLE change their attitudes.

HAS THE US GOVERNMENT BECOME A FRONT FOR CORPORATE/SPECIAL INTERESTS?

Politicians are always preaching about the people being Socially Productive. At the same time shouldn’t the people be able to point fingers at the government? Let’s face it, the results speak for themselves. All three branches of our Federal government failed miserably in the last decade.

I can’t help but notice how the needs of the few outweigh the needs of the many. That’s THE question to be asking Federal and state governments. I know from the founding fathers what the US government is supposed to embrace. “Of, by and for the PEOPLE”, “Life, liberty, happiness, equal rights and justice”. Government is only there to REPRESENT the best interests of the PEOPLE! So how did Republicans/Conservatives get around that vital part of the American Way? Well, let’s just say the rich guys are doing GREAT!

Conservative stacked a Supreme Court that would illegally legislate from the bench and make wealthy corporate entities into people. The government, especially Republicans needed an out, an excuse for the terrible job they did since 1998. The “Citizens United” decision gave Congress that out. Now, what’s good for multi-national corporations must be good for the people, right? Trickle-down economics works, RIGHT?

The Stock Market hasn’t crashed. The Gulf Oil spill was DISPERSED, China’s buying all our bonds keeping the Fed’s afloat and for god sake… don’t touch the Pentagon budget… let the good times roll for the Status Quo, RIGHT?

HOPE and CHANGE, my skinny Italian-American a**. Democrats legislated HALF MEASURES that really don’t do squat for a majority of average American taxpayers. Victories sure, but FOR WHO? NOT for the 49+ MILLION Americans struggling below the poverty level. NOT for the Middle-Class who suddenly became the working poor. NOT for the MILLIONS who lost their homes and college educations to scandalous preditory loan practices. NOT for veterans of our foreign policy mistakes and ill conceived wars… SEEMS LIKE A MAJORITY TO ME!

It NEVER ceases to amaze me how Republicans/Conservatives will bitch, moan and whine about the government helping the poor, unemployed, handicapped, sick, homeless, etc but they don’t raise an eyebrow at billion dollar corporate subsidies, questionable tax loopholes/incentives, war profiteering, shoddy workmanship and contract fraud. Especially those so-called Christians on the Right who seemed to have forgot most of what JESUS preached about the least of my brothers or peacemakers.

Republicans/Conservatives have been taken for a ride and played for fools by foreigners. The Saudi Royals and Rupert Murdoch are the best examples. Just look at how Murdoch f***ed up the USA with FOX Spin… ahhh I mean News. Now he’s building a palace in China for his young Asian wife with the breast implants. Under protection of the Chinese military, Americans won’t be able to hold Rupert accountable… Nice job you Conservative wackos...

All our nation’s problems can be traced back to a SERIOUS misallocation of resources. Allow me to give a brief example: I was watching a news special about America’s biggest taxable cash crop - marijuana! But for some reason the Fed’s INSIST this plant is a bad thing.

According to our geniuses in government, marijuana fibers, oils are of NO VALUE. That it’s 40 or so million users should be in prison. The Fed’s want us to believe the BILLIONS they spend every year on DRUG ENFORCEMENT are tax dollars well spent. COME ON!

NOTE: I noticed the Kentucky state police were burning seized pot plants but the buds were suspiciously missing… oh well, everyone knows the old saying “cops have the best weed” lol.
These are the same authorities who have no problem with the sales of fortified wine and liquor products such as Wild Irish Rose, Thunderbird, Night Train... Intoxicants that can turn the users brain into vegetable matter in a few months. These people are too busy watching repeats of Jerry Springer than to get up and VOTE!

PROPAGANDA IN AMERICA

Net Neutrality is one of the most important Fee Speech issues of our time. I might be wrong but I think the Obama/Biden FCC is about to do to the Internet what Carter/Mondale allowed to happen to the AM Radio PUBLICALLY OWNED AIRWAVES in the late 70’s. Rich, well-connected, scheming, greed stricken, silver spoon, upside down 5-sided star worshippers are about to CONTROL the cyber MESSAGE!

Back in the late 70’s, Conservatives bought up AM radio stations at bargain basement prices and turned it into most successful propaganda network in the history of mankind. Liberal Republican John S. Saloma wrote an almost prophetic warning to the Left Wing in his book “Ominous Politics, The New Conservative Labyrinth” but Liberal Democrats of the time were too busy grooving to FM radio to notice or care.

If that is what’s happening then Progressive Democrat view points are about to get kicked to the back of the internet bus. Just look what AM Radio Free Conservative did to its target population. The funny thing is I’ve been writing to YOU, most of the mainstream and alternative news media, and ALL of my so-called representatives in local, State, Federal government since 1998 without much reply or interest except form letters/e-mails from politicians asking for donations/contributions. (Feinstein, Boxer, Pelosi, Davis, Clinton, Bush Jr., the DNC and GOP, a whole host of local elected officials, civil servants, even the Governator Arnold Schwarzenegger)

Have I got a story for YOU!

I came to California in late 1997 to be close to my two children. After a terrible, gut-wrenching separation from their mother, I sacrificed my own life in Western NY to come to CA to try and be a good father to my kids. But noooooo, the police state of Southern California was going to use all it’s power and taxpayers wealth to ruin my plan and make life into a living, breathing HELL! My first night in CA I got a parking ticket in front of a friends house (Covina) and IT WAS ALL DOWNHILL FROM THERE!

Not only did my government NOT help me but the damn self-serving ****’s actually HINDERED my progress. Over the next few years I was fined, penalized, searched, seized, followed (surveillance), harassed, abused, towed, impounded, code enforced, charged, wrongfully jailed and TORTURED!

NOTE: (My anger has grown since then because of all the waste, fraud, abuse, scandal, incompetence, corruption, reckless economics, war profiteering and Constitutional violations of Bush/Cheney and the Republican controlled Congress (1994-2006) a Corporate Crime Wave of EPIC proportions but law enforcement focuses on little guy?
EXAMPLE: Halliburton escaping prosecution by moving to Dubai. These people committed some of the worst crime in world history and YET they remain unpunished. The California city, county, state government and their law enforcement agents RUINED MY LIFE… for WHAT? Because I didn’t have a CA valid drivers license???)

Picture this: There I was struggling to make a life in So. Cal. Life was hard enough, looking for work, hungry all the time, staying in cheap motels and sleeping in my car, etc… I don’t feel local law enforcement were living up to their “protect and serve” motto.

I got really sick, so I got permission to park in a church parking lot in Pomona. Pomona PD towed and impounded my vehicle and most of my tools and possessions. (1982 Stanza - license # IEYH833)

The tow yard owners were former cops and laughed as I told them my sad story, begging to get my car and possessions back. At the desk at Pomona PD headquarters the cop told me to “just go away, scumbag” . I guess they thought I was just ANOTHER one of the 100’s of homeless people that exist on the streets of that area. Little did they know I was TAKING NOTES!

I took what I could carry out of the impounded car and walked the streets trying to figure out what to do next… I slept underneath a church stairway for a few nights until I learned from the local homeless dregs (lol) how to survive these mean streets.

Eventually I found my way to the ONLY option I had open for me. I bought (IOU promise) our Suburban back from my kids mother in Colton, drove half a block from her place and was pulled over by a San Bernardino Co. Sheriff Deputy.

I tried to explain why the plates were expired: “I just bought it back from my kids mother, look from right over there” I was pointing across the field at her place BEGGING him to let me park in her garage.
“Sorry sir I’m only doing my job”, the #$*&*!~ tells me while calling the tow truck. (1985 Chevy Suburban - license #057CBK Florida plates) This was JUST 3 WEEKS AFTER THEY STOLE MY LAST VEHICLE!

The m#*~/’s didn’t even stick to their 30 day impound rule, some cop was using my truck to tow his boat before I could pay the OUTRAGEOUS tow costs/storage fees to get it back.

(Oh, by the way, did you know most tow/impound companies in So. Cal. Are owned by former cops? Someone should find out why there’s so MANY millionaire Sheriffs and Chiefs of PD’s, made RICH by seized assets. THAT would be a interesting NEWS story, right?)

Now I know you heartless basterds out there are thinking I was irresponsible for not having a valid CA drivers license. I DID have a valid NY Commercial (class A) Drivers License (it cost me $4000 in school/testing costs) but it didn’t matter to the CA police state. Their only concern was to get the PEOPLE off the road and strong-arm me for any valuables.

The whole hellish process reminded me of something… I couldn’t put my finger on it right away but then IT HIT ME! This is how ORGANIZED CRIME in NY works…

I tried to get a CA drivers license but they kept giving me tickets I couldn’t afford. When I didn’t pay up, they decided it was time to punish me and SUSPEND my driving privileges. (a privilege my @$$, have you ever tried to get around So. Cal. WITHOUT a vehicle?) When THAT didn’t break me, THEN THEY PUT ME IN JAIL.

NOTE: (LA County Jail made Abu Ghraib seem like a day at the park. The inmates call it the Twin Towers of living, breathing HELL! San Bernardino Co. Jail wasn’t so bad. The guys transferred from other facilities call it Club Med. Jail/Prison vendors are making a fortune off the inmates there. As a matter of fact, I purchased a souvenir “Hard Times - between a rock and a hard place” mug from the commissary, before my release...

Now I was back walking the streets. I experienced the kind of suffering and degradation that would have broke most men. But I’m a fighter, I NEVER GIVE UP! I was sick of being hungry all the time. I did whatever it took to have money in my pocket and a roof over my head. This was new to me, I was never poor or homeless before, so I talked to those who knew how to survive the streets. I got plain mad-dog mean…

I was hearing stories from all the poor and homeless that exist in the ugly underbelly of Southern California. About how law enforcement treats the poor on the streets and in jail. Horror stories that were unimaginable to me. Being a writer/researcher I wanted to see for myself. I wanted to FIGHT BACK!

In late 1998 I joined a group of San Bernardino activists... Then in early 1999, a group of Riverside activists, a group of Claremont activists, and a group of LA activists… Everyone working hard to DEMAND ACCOUNTABILITY! Once the protest movement grew beyond 2000 people, the violations of the Constitution started. Why is it leaders in the USA hate when the PEOPLE achieve any sort of power?

After months of protest rallies in front of City halls, police stations, DA/County buildings, and Sheriff departments the term routine traffic stop took on a whole new meaning. Over 20 times driving myself or with other activists… 3 times just walking down the street from my house.

LATER, I was charged with some petty crime. A malicious, vindictive prosecution where I was sentenced to 75 days in Riverside County jail for going to a protest march. (DA Grover Trask)

During my pre-trial hearing I spoke out AGAINST this warped practice of prosecution/seizure, LOW GRADE THOUGHT PROCESSES of the police state, the district attorney, judge, State leaders and the Justice Dept. I let it be known I was going to the 2000 Democratic National Convention (in Los Angeles) to organize “outsiders”…

A few days before the Convention started a “special unit” of the San Bernardino sheriff’s dept. showed up at my house, guns drawn, IN FRONT OF MY CHILDREN and hauled me away. The officer in charge told me “…you must have pissed off the wrong person because we NEVER DO THIS KIND OF THING”. I was held for 8 days WITHOUT CHARGES… I know, I KNOW... it was just a coincidence I was released the moment the convention ended.

Even worse, while in custody, my kids mother took my children away saying I was making them into targets. And just to make my life a bit more miserable, one San Bernardino deputy decided to get my rap sheet and show it to my girlfriend so he could #*~/ her. Even though it’s AGAINST THE LAW and I contacted their Internal Affairs Department, the officer was never punished…

Now… my rap sheet is full of misdemeanors, but it doesn’t tell the WHOLE STORY! It doesn’t say I was convicted for going to a protest march. (search: Tyisha Miller, Irvin Landrum Jr.)

My story for 1998-2002 was exploration and discovery steeped in suffering and degradation. The kind of sad story that MAKE authors famous but I couldn’t even get a letter to the editor published.

NOTE: (Dostoyevsky once said “suffering and degradation are the only way to achieve the CONSCIOUSNESS”)

I’ve been writing about this travesty and phenomena ever since and trying to put into context with the economic meltdown.

A bit of factual history so Americans don’t make the same MISTAKES of the past

If our economy is failing it’s because of low grade thought processes involved with long range fiscal planning of the Republican Party since 1981... THAT NOT ONE OF THEM WILL TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR NOW!

Republicans believe Corporations have a right to do as they please. Most card carrying conservatives are so ignorant they don’t even know their own ideological CREDO. “Limited intervention in the economy. Substantial intervention in morality”. This means let the RICH/POWERFUL do whatever they please while finger pointing and preaching to the average Joe and Jane Schmuck.

Reagan/Bush killed ANTI-TRUST and any regulation that kept industry HONEST. When Reagan/Bush came to power, the USA was #1 on the planet in exporting goods and importing raw materials. This is the very definition of a prosperous economy. In 2009, it is the exact opposite. Why? Years of Republicans selling out the American middle class, that’s why. Oh and let’s not forget Reagan union busting and DEREGULATION. The root of ALL future Corporate scandal.

A long list of legislation starting with “fiscal conservatism” and “trickle down economics” led to the decline in federal aid to local governments from $64 per resident in 1980 to $29 in 1992. To REPLACE the lost funding, a mandate for LAW ENFORCEMENT and Criminal Justice (sic) System to generate revenue for itself, State and local governments. PROFIT margins created a government VS. the PEOPLE mentality.

NOTE: (Sunday, April 16, 2000 Press-Enterprise B-1 article titled “San Bernardino County leads nation in forfeitures” WHAT? Joseph D. Mcnamara, a research fellow at Stanford University and former police chief in San Jose, said: “I think in general it’s a BAD MISTAKE to have the police interested in anything other than the pursuit of justice”

In other words… Because it’s become political suicide to raise taxes… The RICH haven’t pulled their weight since the Bush Tax cuts were legislated so the BURDEN of keeping local governments afloat has been shifted on the backs of the POOR…

Add the special interest pandering which further separated the PEOPLE from “LIFE, LIBERTY, HAPPINESS, EQUAL RIGHTS and JUSTICE”. As a mater of fact JUSTICE became a commodity bought and sold by the wealthy, powerful and well-connected.

NOTE: (Robert Ito in Los Angeles Magazine writes: “…YES, the $40 BILLION dollar private prison business is recession proof. The Corrections Corporation of America controlled 52% of the domestic market. Net income grew 75% in 1997, it’s stock doubled…” YEA! Ask Bob Barker about investing in the jail/prison industry. Bob Barker plastic soap dishes, jail shoes… and how can one strip down, bend over and COUGH without thinking of Bob Barker latex examination glovers?)

The Conservatives pushed legislation that led to job outsourcing/loss, media consolidation, off-shore account scandal, military Christian Crusade and a Corporate Crime Wave of epic proportions.

NOTE: (Tell me again Newt Gingrich, since you’re such a patriot… How did the American PEOPLE benefit from using our tax dollars to insure the venture capital of Corporations that moved to Asia? What about the OTHER tax subsidies? OoooHhhh and let’s not forget that Expatriate Clause, YOU HID, in Clinton’s Family Leave bill. Y’know the legislation that allowed billionaires, drug traffickers, corporate pilferers and tax evaders to take their money out of our country… PENALTY FREE! …COME ON NEWT, you‘re a great American, RIGHT?) godamn, you right-wing voters are stupid…

These con men and criminals took revenue away from grade schools so a very few wealthy aristocrats could get MO MONEY!

And what LOSES they were, untold TRILLIONS, reckless economics on a scale it will take generations to fully understand the consequences! The Bush/Cheney Administration and Republican Congress spent money like a meth Ho with a credit card. These TRAITORS put us under the debt thumb of Commie China by borrowing TRILLIONS from them to fund their useless, money-pit, war policy. But the Dittoheads were TOO BUSY parroting Rush Limbaugh/FOX News and blaming Democrats/Liberals to notice…

Since the day Obama was sworn in these pitiful Conservative crybabies have been whining about a 2009 spending spree not even realizing the last Bush budget year ended THIS October. The Treasury Department is now accepting donations to pay down the National debt. Americans aren’t being told the WHOLE story about the US economy. After the so-called “trickle down, fiscal conservatism” groundwork was laid by Reagan/Bush, the 90’s Congress, led by such Republican degenerates as Phil Gramm, Tom Delay, Newt Gingrich, Larry Craig, Tom Foley, etc, took the ball and ran with it. The Conservatives pushed legislation that led to job outsourcing/loss, media consolidation, off-shore account scandal, military Christian Crusade and a Corporate Crime Wave of epic proportions.

NOTE: (Tell me again Newt Gingrich, since you’re such a patriot… How did the American PEOPLE benefit from using our tax dollars to insure the venture capital of Corporations that moved to Asia? Since the day Obama was sworn in these pitiful Conservative crybabies have been whining about a 2009 spending spree not even realizing the last Bush budget year ended THIS October. Here’s the thing I don’t understand about the Fort Hood disaster… Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan was surrounded by the best mental health professionals the Army had to offer and they failed to see any red flags or warning signs. So what chance does the average soldier with problems have? How many of these troubled soldiers are being pushed back into society without being prepared for the bad economy and other problems the Bush/Cheney so irresponsibly left for Americans to deal with?

There’s a saying soldiers are bringing back from Iraq that gets right to the heart of this evil. “Rats get FAT while good soldiers DIE”…

The thought that candidates could simply ride to victory on Obama’s coattails was WRONG!

BUT, up in New York’s 23rd District, it was the Progressive grassroots community volunteers/organizers THAT COUNTERED the Conservative nutcase Dick Armey/Sarah Palin OUTSIDERS. (read: San Francisco Chronicle “Bill Owens beats Doug Hoffman, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh” by Zennie62)

Maybe NOW Obama can come down off his #*~/’n pedestal and REALIZE Americans didn’t LOVE Obama/Biden as much as they HATED Bush/Cheney/Palin/Limbaugh! The Right-wing’s latest vehicle for this evil purpose is the terrible news from Fort Hood, Texas. 100 rounds fired ON A MILITARY BASE… killing 13 (1 civilian) and wounding 30 (1 civilian) before Army psychiatrist Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, 39, was shot by a Fort Hood police woman.

FOX News started with it’s slanted propaganda as soon as the news hit the national wire services. I know, I KNOW… it was just a coincidence FOX News had Ret. Col. Terry Lee ready for an interview to connect Hasan with the anti-war Left. Lee said he worked with Hasan and described a man who got into arguments with soldier who supported the Bush/Cheney Wars and was fighting his own deployment. Also FOX misreported that the shooter was killed by military police.

Of course there was no mention that Hasan achieved his rank as major in April 2008... y’know, during the Bush/Cheney Administration. What I can’t believe is that NO ONE picked up on the classic warning signs that Hasan was a time bomb waiting to happen. Once again the Bush/Cheney War trust showed it’s incompetence and failure. Funny how (after the fact) there’s more than enough people to STEP UP and paint a DISTURBING picture of Major Hasan.

While an intern at Walter Reed he had “difficulties that required counseling”. There was odd internet postings that law enforcement officials (who want to remain anonymous) ignored. Hasan was harassed and threatened for being different like some Columbine teen. And FOX News viewers… after 9/11/01, let’s not forget the man was a MUSLIM… even worse a Palestinian… born and raised in Virginia BUT HE PRAYED AT A MOSQUE! (...and took his medical oath on the Koran, lol)

Not the usual kind of individual that makes it up through the Conservative ranks, RIGHT? Unless they had a special purpose for him. He was widely heard opposing the wars and expressed a desire to leave the military but was deployed instead. Like someone was pushing him to the edge. Hasan worked at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, a fellow in disaster and preventative psychiatry and received a medical degree from Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. SURROUNDED by the best mental health officers in the US military and NO ONE took the time to separate Hasan from all then other 1000’s of American soldiers driven mad by the Bush/Cheney Wars?

It’s frustrating for me the way American broadcast media handles the stories of our day. All the Liberal VS Conservative pundit bullshit is only GETTING IN THE WAY OF THE REAL NEWS STORIES.

Let me give you and example: All this week we’ve been hearing every opinion under the sun concerning Obama VS Cheney speeches. Cheney criticizes Obama Administration war policy and then the Obama people come back with facts and statistics that prove they’re stuck cleaning up the HUGE mess Bush/Cheney left for them.

As usual the mainstream media and most Americans COMPLETELY MISS the real story that never seems to get told. What I want to know is who the hell is this Center for Security Policy and what were they thinking when the choose Dick Cheney to win the “Keeper of the Flame” Award. Keeper of WHAT flame? The one that keeps Big Oil, arms dealers and War Profiteers in the wealthy, extravagant lifestyle they’ve grown accustomed to? $

Speaking for a majority of American voters… all I can say is I don’t want these Policy Center for Security assholes anywhere near my government. There I was, enjoying a Pacifico Clara with fellow Concerned Citizens, watching President Obama making one hell of a GREAT speech. It answered all the criticisms the Right-Wing has used against Healthcare and made the Republicans look like fools. (McCain called it more partisan then he liked…) YEA, and it’s about #*~/ TIME!

Anyway, we were getting our laughs watching the enraged Republicans react to the President’s speech. But this was different from all the other joint sessions of Congress I’ve seen. It was as though the guys from “Cuckoo’s Nest” had invaded the House of Representatives. Like I wrote in the previous post… Van Jones was RIGHT, Republicans ARE assholes! All the proof one needs is now a matter of record and on video.

One of those “squeal like a pig”, Rush Limbaugh degenerates, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) was wearing a hastily made protest sign like a dunce cap. “What Bill” was written in crayon. (lol) Gohmert was fidgeting in his seat trying to hide the huge beer belly with his little sign.

Then Rep. Joe Wilson (R-SC) did the unthinkable… this pitiful maniac decided it was a good idea to shout “You lie” to President Obama as he was addressing the bullshit Republicans put out about illegal aliens getting free health care. It was an unprecedented act of DISRESPECT not seen in the Congress since the Civil War. The House filled with BOO’s from BOTH SIDES of the aisle.

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) tried making excuses for his fellow South Carolinian talking about “…the President’s combative tone”, but the damage was done.

I can’t think of many Americans who actually want the fear/smear tactics Republicans have been pushing at Town Hall meetings, in the Halls of Congress. It was a shameless display that was an embarrassment for all involved. (You Republican c*^ksuckers think you can bring that tea party, birther, health-scare bullshit into MY government? You pathetic morons got a big surprise coming)

Speaking for myself. I’m going to South Carolina for the next election and do EVERYTHING I can to destroy the career of Rep. Joe Wilson. I suggest every American send donations and support South Carolina Democrat Rob Miller in the next election AGAINST that Republican right-wing punk Joe Wilson. I was doing some consulting work for a friend recently. While completing the job at the house of our customers, I noticed the dart board out on their back patio with a picture of Nancy Pelosi attached over the bulls eye. I asked the couple about it and they started on a rant about how much they despised Rep. Pelosi.

Mind you this is NOT in California, so the couple knew only what the Conservative propagandists told them. No facts, no statistics, no legislative content, no legitimate cases or concrete examples… they just hated Nancy Pelosi and that was all there was to it. The lady of the house told me she just hates that stupid look on Nancy Pelosi’s face every time she talks to the media. (yea, stupid look) I was looking into the lady's smiling blank eyes… (it reminded me of Sarah Palin)

Now these people are not some ignorant, southern state rubes. He was an engineer and she a retired teacher. They lived in a million dollar home on a hilltop with a priceless view and 5 expensive vehicles in the driveway… So I couldn’t UNDERSTAND their thought processes. When the woman said “Glenn Beck is god in this house”, it took my fuck’n breath away.

While we completed the final details of the job I was talking business but in the back of my mind I was screaming at the couple:
“Why should I take ANYTHING you people say seriously? Glenn Beck is god? ARE YOU #*~/’n CRAZY? Beck/Limbaugh/Hannity/etc… are your way to justify the SHAMELESS HYPOCRISY and unrelenting guilt.

I don’t know why I put myself through the pain and frustration of watching ANYTHING Fox Spin… ahhhh, I mean News broadcasts. This week on Fox News Sunday that Ho Mike Wallace did a sickening interview with Dick Cheney. Wallace stuck to Cheney’s script that the former Vice-President is the god of defending America from terrorism. Even though all the evidence and documents PROVE torture did NOTHING to provide creditable information or prevent terrorist attacks, Cheney STILL maintains his policies were right and Obama is making us weak.

Next the bitch Mike Wallace goes back to a story he did last week about the Veterans Administration and a booklet titled “Your Life, Your Choices”. Wallace acts likes he's a responsible journalist but in reality he’s bullying a disabled vet who had the courage to make a comeback and go to work for the VA. Wallace maintained the booklet encourages severely wounded Vets to “check out”.

Of course Wallace, his Conservative idiot audience, and the Fox News empire misses the WHOLE point of any argument against Bush/Cheney policy. No mention of the COST of the War in Iraq both in life (over 5000 US soldiers and GOD only knows how many Iraqi’s) and the 3 TRILLION dollars it will eventually cost the children of American taxpayers. That the war was a LIE from the start, won ONLY by the Big Oil, WAR profiteers and arms dealers. No mention of the strategic blunder of getting rid of Saddam Hussein, who had CONTROL over Islamic fanaticism and countered any treat from Iran.

A true journalist would ask Condi Rice about HOW Bush/Cheney Administration war policy was such a FAILURE that they actually had to beg corrupt, scandalous Baath Party officials, who ran Iraq for Saddam, to come back to help in the rebuilding process.

There were no questions about KBR contract disasters and why Haliburton moved to Dubia to escape investigation and prosecution. No investigation in to the the true nature of the Surge… which consisted of paying off insurgents NOT to blow up Americans.

The Right-Wing fanatics are making a big deal about Obama ORGANIZING Americans. They somehow got the idea that Obama is forming a army of community organizers and the youth that will target Conservatives and Republicans for their political beliefs. Speaking of private armies… Is anyone else disturbed by the fact Bush/Cheney put together their OWN ARMY of private military contractors… that outnumber US troops? If I was one of the soldiers in Iraq or Afghanistan, I’d be asking WHY are the private contractors making 4 times the pay of the troops risking their lives in the field?

AUTHORS NOTE: I’ve spent the last decade and a half fighting against the phenomenon that I write about in the following post. This just might be my way of avoiding a future of explaining to my children (and grandchildren) how THE ADULTS allowed a bunch of vain, self-serving, power mad, greed stricken, silver spoon Con Artists to steal away the American Dream. At the very least I didn’t become one of the silly, ignorant, victimized, self-absorbed, apathetic, celebrity worshipping COWARDS who stood by and let vile, contemptible NONSENSE get in the way of my values.

The American PEOPLE are at the CROSSROADS in 2009. We can do NOTHING and let the Status Quo ruin everything America stands for… OR, we can fight for the UNALIENABLE rights and freedoms that were “endowed by the Creator”. Americans need to be EDUCATED!

“NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION” has been ingrained in the public consciousness by the recent right-wing Tea Party Movement. Once again Republicans/Conservatives took a Patriotic symbol and put their own spin on it. (These LOSERS misrepresent American HISTORY, vital issues and the Constitution as badly as they interpret the Bible, lol) I want to correct this travesty with facts that are more in tune with what the Founding Fathers had in mind.

It’s a slogan that described the grievance, people who lived in the original 13 Colonies, had with the Brits. The British Ruling Class was distant and unsympathetic to the wants and needs of the American Colonists. (sound familiar?)

Here’s the thing… The PEOPLE had BALLS back then, so they REJECTED the Stamp Act of 1765 which was repealed. In 1773, years of fermenting anger/frustration turned to violent uprisings (one most famously known as the Boston Tea Party) which led to the great American Revolution. Like I said… the PEOPLE had COURAGE back then. (and didn’t like being played for FOOLS)

Single payer health care WAS Obama’s Waterloo and he already lost that BATTLE. Our sacred Obama/Biden Administration seems to have retreated to the weakest possible version of Healthcare reform. Speaking for myself, if the politicHo’s leave single payer out of health care reform then I rather they did nothing at all. It will only end up being a failure and huge waste of taxpayers dollars.

Let me explain how this ONE ISSUE can dash the hopes of a majority of the American PEOPLE.

I have a question… When did the USA become the United Suckers of America? Here’s the average American taxpayer… basically honest, hardworking, law abiding citizens caught in the middle.

On one side are Corporations, who have all the RIGHTS of a citizen but none of the responsibilities (limited liability). The Corporations don’t REPRESENT the American PEOPLE, their only concern is profit and stock holders.

On the other side of the average taxpayer is Government. A UNION of Federal, State, County and local government workers and elected officials. Many of these government officials/workers take a sworn OATH to UPHOLD the Constitution, PROTECT, SERVE and work for the best interests of the American PEOPLE. (blah, blah, blah, yada, yada, lol)

But things CHANGED in the 1980’s. It was a REPEAT of what happened to the PEOPLE before the Great Depression. Government Representatives, of the average taxpayer, were wined, dined, sexed and bribed by wealthy powerful men who wanted the game rigged so they would ALWAYS come out on top. (Status Quo)

It was and IS hard times... THE AVERAGE TAXPAYER started to NOTICE things… On the one side Corporations spending the last few decades getting huge government subsides and stimulus while *@~/ing over the American PEOPLE every chance they got.

On the other side, government workers and elected officials (public sector) had the kind of JOB/PENSION/HEALTH CARE SECURITY the average taxpayer could only HOPE for or dream about. (pursuit of HAPPINESS)

Civil servants, my skinny Italian-American @$$… just who the #*~/ is serving WHO?

Caught in the middle is EVERY average American citizen PAYING FOR IT ALL! This while watching their jobs, pensions, prosperity, health, education and happiness FADE AWAY! They started to realize this was the price of their APATHY of the last few decades. They didn’t hold their leaders ACCOUNTABLE for their actions, they forgot ETERNAL VIGILANCE included DEMANDING ETHICS AND RESPONSIBILITY!

Because of this error in judgment and lax standards (deregulation), an orgy of waste fraud, abuse, scandal, corruption, arms dealing, war profiteering, violations of the Constitution HAPPENED! (which the 4th Estate mostly ignored or diverted attention from)

Vain, self-serving, power mad, greed stricken silver spoon Con Artists ravaged, off-shored and expatriated most of our nations wealth and resources… AND THEN GOT THE GOVERNMENT to force the DEBT of these criminal actions ON the average taxpayer. (while the Con Artists got multimillion dollar salaries, golden parachutes, $150,000 speaking engagements and police/secret service protection)

PLEASE! Someone tell me WHERE the REPRESENTATION IS in this whole scenario? What did the average American taxpayer get for their tax dollars in the last 13 years? You dumbass numbskull mother#*~/‘s really need to learn that a con is a CON! No matter in a back alley or from the Ivory Towers, the trick is to RECOGNIZE IT and not get played for a FOOL…

Whether one believes it or not… Single Payer Health Care WAS the Waterloo of both Obama’s Presidency and rights/freedoms of the American PEOPLE. Y’know, all that about “Of, By, For, Life, Liberty, Happiness, Equal Rights and JUSTICE”. Single Payer was the most efficient, cost effective way to start down the path to the American Dream. This ONE issue can rock the foundations of the Status Quo much like the Tea Party did at the start of this great nation.

Not in the way Conservatives think, though. Single payer is not government control over our lives but a way to get out from under the thumb of this Corporate/Government fascist police state. This ENTITY that uses strong arm tactics resembling ORGANIZED CRIME to get what they want. Single Payer was a first step to bring POWER back to the PEOPLE. The kind of CHANGE most American taxpayers really want (whether they know it or NOT)

Can anyone tell me with a straight face what it is Insurance Companies DO… beyond creating a pool of people they can profit from? Is making outrageous profits from the suffering of your fellow man/woman a RIGHT or a PRIVILEGE?

Single Payer was a way for Progressives to get rid of the evil middle-men between YOU and your Doctor. That’s all it was, pooling all Americans so we could watch out for least of our Brothers...

I don’t know about what the knuckle-heads think ...but sick people being denied because of pre-existing conditions or contract fine print and 47 MILLION Americans WITHOUT health care is all the proof I need that our present system is G-damn failure. I’d even go so far to say it’s one of the MANY crimes against HUMANITY our government/corporate entities have gotten themselves involved in.

Reagan/Bush killed ANTI-TRUST and any regulation that kept industry HONEST. When Reagan/Bush came to power, the USA was #1 on the planet in exporting goods and importing raw materials. This is the very definition of a prosperous economy. In 2009, it is the exact opposite. Why? Years of Republicans selling out the American PEOPLE, that’s why. Oh and let’s not forget Reagan union busting and DEREGULATION. The root of ALL future Corporate scandal.

A long list of legislation starting with “fiscal conservatism” and “trickle down economics” led to the decline in federal aid to local governments from $64 per resident in 1980 to $29 per in 1992. To REPLACE the lost funding, a mandate for LAW ENFORCEMENT and Criminal Justice (sic) System to generate revenue for itself, State and local governments. PROFIT margins created a government VS. the PEOPLE mentality.

The Status Quo is STILL in charge and Public Option are just words to keep Progressives/Liberals from starting trouble.

Progressive spokespersons have been making excuses for President Obama during the Health Care debate. The tougher among us want Obama/Biden to force through a legitimate plan that will make the best use of the one TRILLION dollar overhaul scheme. But many Left-wing pundits are saying "that's just not the way things work" in Washington, DC. There's RULES and PROCEDURES! ...bullshit!

Obama/Biden has RIGHT on their side! If Obama wants health reform he should DEMAND IT! (he already HAS a majority of the American PEOPLE to support his plan). Yes... I watched the 5-22-09 Bill Moyers Journal (PBS) on HEALTHCARE. IT was enlightening, inspirational, informative… Moyer’s asked the right questions and his expert guests had all the facts, statistics and eyewitness accounts to back up their conclusions… NOTHING, of course, that an American either here or oversees could find on the network/cable TV so-called NEWS!

(I blame the mainstream news outlets for ALL the problems the USA is facing. If the so-called journalists had been doing their jobs… all the waste, fraud, abuse, scandal, corruption, bias, job loss, control, arms dealing, war profiteering, Constitutional violations of the last few decades WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE!)

Indy Media AND Progressive Talk Radio hosts such as Amy Goodman, Maria Santelli, Thom Hartman, Nicole Sandler, Randi Rhodes, etc… have reported on life experiences on the American scene. Real stories of real people SCAMMED, RUINED & KILLED by OUR PRESENT HEALTHCARE SYSTEM…
