From teen on, Valeria worked hard all her life breaking Executive VP glass ceiling for Black Women in Corporate. Honest, Val paid taxes all along, but her Vietnam Vet husband failed her, dying of sudden stroke and leaving huge IRS tax debt. 

Cautionary tale: (all women should pay attention to sound financial planning & tax filing separate from husbands. When you're busy it's hard to keep track of his ...actions, y'know? Even their accounting firm of 20 years didn't realize what was happening to poor Valeria when she signed joint returns. There's your fuckn IRS scandal, you pathetic news ******s!)

As if she didn't sacrifice ENOUGH already, WTF? Compared to all these chicken hawk, GOP mofos who WASTE our tax dollars on unnecessary wars. Of course they NEVER send their OWN children into battle. 

Val's daughter Jackie T., wounded Veteran, stayed in service to care for military families of deployed soldiers who needed food, rent and utility costs. When US government failed to care, she went to churches for help.
When even that wasn't enough she couldn't take the outrage and disillusion.
The HORROR of what happened next is not my story to tell and too terrible for me to remember or write about. 

AUTHORS NOTE:: Since Valeria was MY partner (7 years) when she died from a broken heart, I lived her suffering and outrage. The way US Government and local law enforcement treated this poor woman is an violation of everything we hold dear about the USA. I reached out for help from the same government that sent her daughters to war, but we were left to deal with the consequences of war on our own. 

Not only did the government NOT help us but they actually hindered any chance we had for "LIFE, LIBERTY, HAPPINESS".  It was fuckn insanity, even at the local government level... I was there caring for Val in her time of need and had to deal with racist police asking what I was doing with a Black woman. WTF?

The ONLY elected official who reached out to Val, to her credit as a great representative of the PEOPLE, was NY Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, helping to get the leeches at the IRS off Val's back... but alas it was too late. 

ITS ACCOUNTABILITY TIME you star struck, money grubbing elitist scum. I'm making it my JOB that you will all know/experience Val's pain, suffering and degradation. If for nothing else, that another Military family member NEVER experiences anything even resembling this fuckn outrage.
